Dairy food consumption and inflammation

To date scientific studies evaluating the isolated effects of dairy foods on inflammatory responses are scarce. Therefore, National Dairy Council is seeking pre-proposal applications using innovative approaches to determine if dairy foods (i.e. full-fat, low-fat, fermented, non-fermented) consumption exhibit unique responses on inflammatory biomarkers. Proposals can be short-term dietary interventions in appropriate populations, observational cohort analyses, and/or suitable animal models.
